Product Description

Calcium silicate board is fabricated from a blend of portland cement, fine silica, special cellulose fibers, and selected fillers. These components endow the board with durability, toughness, fire - resistance, and moisture - resistance. The board is cured through an autoclaving process, where the ingredients react under the influence of super - heated steam and high pressure. The synthetic cement - silicate binder provides exceptional dimensional stability and an unparalleled resistance to movement caused by moisture or heat effects.

This board does not contain any soluble ingredients or free alkali that could be dissolved by moisture or condensation, preventing the formation of unsightly marks. If exposed to moisture, the board can completely recover upon drying without any permanent loss of strength. Calcium silicate panels do not degrade over time. Under normal applications, the lifespan of the product is only limited by the durability of the supporting structure and the materials used for fastening. It will not rot, support fungal growth, and is not affected by sunlight or steam.

The calcium silicate sheet is specifically designed for applications where impact - resistance, fire - resistance, water - resistance, sound absorption, and heat insulation are required. It is suitable for use in high - humidity environments. It has a wide range of applications, including for external walls & ceilings, internal walls, partitions & ceilings, decorative applications, as sub - roof boards, and as underlay boards for floor and wall tiles. It is also fireproof (Class A1), waterproof, 100% asbestos - free, has sound - absorption and heat - isolation properties, and is easy to install.
