The installation process of EPS cement sandwich wall panels is as follows:
1.Preparation
Before construction, the wall panels and installation equipment need to be inspected to ensure that they meet the construction standards. According to the design drawings and bill of quantities, determine the quantity and specifications of EPS cement sandwich wall panels, and prepare the required materials, such as wires, water pipes, bridges, etc.
2.Deal with grassroots
The base layer where the wall panels are installed needs to be leveled, dense, free of dust, stains, etc. If there are defects, they should be repaired and leveled first.
3.Drilling
Use an electric hammer or a pistol drill to drill holes on the wall. The hole spacing is generally about 400mm, and the hole diameter depends on the thickness of the EPS board, generally 15-25mm. During the drilling process, damage to the surface of the EPS board should be avoided.
4.Fixed EPS board
Put the EPS board on the wall and fix it on the base layer with a special fixing card. The distance between the fixed cards is generally about 600mm, and the specific distance can be adjusted according to the actual situation on site.
5.Install wire mesh
Install steel wire mesh on the outside of the EPS board. The width of the steel wire mesh should be greater than the thickness of the EPS board by 5mm, and the length should be adjusted according to the length of the wallboard. The steel mesh can be fixed on the EPS board with self-made special steel mesh clips.
6.Install the beam bracket
To install the beam brackets on the wall, two beam brackets need to be installed for each wall panel, and the distance between the beam brackets is generally about 600mm. A rotary hammer or pistol drill can be used to drill holes in the wall to secure the beam brackets to the wall.
7.Install the EPS board
Put the EPS board on the beam bracket, and glue the EPS board and the beam bracket together with a special adhesive. The bonding area between the EPS board and the beam bracket should be greater than 70%.
8.Pouring foam cement
Inject foam cement into the gap between the EPS board and the beam bracket until it is filled. The thickness of foam cement is generally about 5mm.
9.Surface treatment
After the construction is completed, the surface of the EPS cement sandwich wallboard can be treated with sandpaper to smooth the surface slightly, or painted with paint.
